Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking an EHSS Senior Officer to safeguard personnel, property and assets through CCTV, access control, and dispatch oversight. You will lead peers on the night shift, coordinate safety tasks, and document incidents across the organization.

Based in Atlanta, GA, the role includes emergency medical response, incident reporting, and collaboration with HR and the EHSS Director to enforce policies. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years security experience.
• A professional demeanor and excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with all levels of company personnel and outside contacts.
• The ability to produce accurate, concise and detailed reports that can withstand review by the highest levels of company personnel and various legal authorities is essential.
• DPSST certification is required within 30 days of hire (Oregon Only) or State specific Training for Security.

Responsibilities

• Manage badge access program.
• Manage key distribution for campus.
• Provide training to new officers.
• Respond to calls for assistance from departments throughout the company.
• Prepare and review incident reports.
• Provide safety, security, and fire safety support activities with hazard analysis and incident investigations.
• Conduct general inspections for safety and security risks and equipment/facilities maintenance inspections.
• Investigate and evaluate safety and security improvement suggestions and incidents.
• Investigate crimes against the company and coordinate with supervisors for life safety operations.
• Provide emergency medical response, including First Aid and CPR, as needed.
• Greet visitors, issue badges, and enforce the Corporate Identification Badge procedure.
