Qualifications

• Remains knowledgeable of hotel security policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Remains knowledgeable of emergency procedures, operation of alarm doors, fire alarms, and key orientation.
• Patrols allocated areas and watches for suspicious, irregular, prohibited, or dangerous activities, situations, or persons.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Investigates disturbances by addressing violator and complainant; takes action to resolve the disturbance in the hotel's best interest.
• Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities; maintains logs during scheduled shifts.
• Calls police, fire department, or ambulance in emergencies or when dangerous conditions are present.
• Provides assistance and information to guests and staff; maintains a professional image at all times.
