Job summary

The Toledo Museum of Art seeks a Control Room Operator for the 3rd shift to help safeguard the museum's collection, staff and visitors. You will monitor CCTV, access controls, and dispatch security personnel while performing walking patrols across campus.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 1 year in security; experience with video management systems and security databases is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in security, safety or a closely related field.
• Experience with security video management systems and use of specialized databases, and programs used to manage physical security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campus spaces and access points to protect visitors and staff.
• Respond to life safety alarms and coordinate security dispatch.
• Maintain logs, file security reports, and stay current on policies.
