Job summary

Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County is seeking a Night Security Guard to safeguard the property and assist employees and service participants. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring CCTV, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and reporting any incidents to the Asset Protection Lead.

A CA guard card and a valid driver’s license are required, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of security experience is preferred.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Must have a valid CA guard card and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to deter crime and protect property.
• Evict trespassers following policy and legal protocols.
• Provide security services to employees and participants.
• Monitor traffic and verify IDs to ensure access control.
• Report incidents to the Asset Protection Lead and Risk Manager.
• Maintain CCTV systems and respond to alarms 24/7.
• Coordinate via company devices and communicate clearly.
