Job summary

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and premises neat and clean at all times.
• Regulates heat, ventilation, and air conditioning to maintain comfortable, economical conditions.
• Shovels, plows, and sands walkways and driveways as needed.
• Ensures exit doors are open and panic bolts function during occupancy.
• Raises and lowers the U.S. flag daily.
• Cleans classrooms, corridors, and sanitary fixtures daily.
• Cleans windows inside and outside at least twice a year.
• Maintains grounds by picking up rubbish and performing lawn/landscape tasks as needed.
• Performs minor repairs and coordinates major repairs with the head custodian.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and requests replacements ahead of time.
• Conducts regular maintenance and inspections of equipment and systems.
