Job summary

Jack Link’s Protein Snacks is hiring a sanitation worker to maintain a clean, safe plant floor. You will perform cleaning, sanitizing, and equipment readiness to support production, following GMP, HACCP, SOPs, and SSOPs.

The role requires adherence to a sanitary program, proper chemical handling, and active participation in safety practices. The shift runs Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities to grow within a fast-paced meat snack facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Cleaning or chemical sanitation experience/training or equivalent.
• Ability to organize and prioritize in a multi-tasking environment.
• Follow Chemical & Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures after training.
• Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean facilities and equipment in proper sequence and timely manner for start-up.
• Apply chemicals for cleaning, degreasing and sanitizing with sprayers and hoses.
• Perform hot and cold water wash downs for equipment, floors and walls.
• Clean equipment parts, overheads, units, pipes and lights; keep areas tidy.
• Follow daily sanitation schedule and complete Master Cleaning Schedule.
