Job summary

Pete & Gerry's Organics in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize processing equipment, floors, and drains on a nightly basis. The role requires independence and efficiency to keep our high food-safety standards.

You'll work across shifts, support GMP and safety procedures, and contribute to keeping hens, eggs, and the planet healthy. Prior cleaning or processing experience is valued, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a processing environment preferred.
• Cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Turn on and prepare wash tank at the start of shift.
• Inspect flats and equipment for debris, glue, or other quality concerns.
• Stack cleaned flats and label as required.
• General housekeeping including cleaning eggs off the floor and organizing materials.
• Complete end-of-day paperwork and dispose of waste.
• Comply with Food Safety and GMP requirements at all times.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures.
