Job summary

Pete & Gerry's Organics, LLC is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician for our Greencastle facility to maintain top-tier cleaning and sanitation standards in a fast-paced egg processing environment.

You will clean and sanitize equipment, floors, and drains nightly, support end-of-day hygiene, and work independently to keep the plant spotless while aligning with our mission of healthy hens, eggs, and planet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in a processing environment preferred
• Cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Rinse, foam, scrub and wash equipment, then sanitize as part of nightly cleaning routines
• Perform end-of-day hygiene sweep of entire processing plant, removing waste and debris
• Clean and sanitize pre-loader, loader, orientator table, spools, washers, dirt detector, crack detector, scales, dryer, transfer and packers 1-20
• Maintain cleanliness of floors and drains and ensure sanitation across shifts
• Work independently and efficiently to support production goals
