Job summary

Nature's Bakery, part of the Mars family of companies, seeks a Sanitation Worker for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri 9:00pm-5:30am) with overtime as needed to support plant sanitation and safety program in Carson City, NV.

Responsibilities include sanitizing equipment, reading chemical labels, light cleaning, disassembling equipment, and reporting issues to supervision while upholding the Safe Quality Food program.

Qualifications

• General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to follow safety policies and read chemical labels.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize equipment using chemicals and power washers.
• Read chemical labels to ensure safe applications.
• Light cleaning of coolers and floors; sweep and pick up debris.
• Disassemble equipment as needed and inspect for sanitation compliance.
• Report issues to supervisor and adhere to GMP and Safe Quality Food program.
