Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Hazlehurst, MS is seeking a sanitation/cleaning teammate to maintain cleanliness of assigned area and assist with machinery tear down and setup before production starts.

You will handle cleaning chemicals, operate a high-pressure water hose, and follow safety policies while wearing PPE in a wet, cold working environment. This role requires night/weekend shifts and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned to.
• Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift.
• Help setup before production starts in the morning.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
