Job summary

Lakeside Foods is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor at our Weston facility in Oregon. You will lead sanitation operations, train staff, manage supplies, and coordinate with production to ensure clean, safe, and compliant operations.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sanitation procedures, safety protocols, and food safety programs, with the ability to lead teams and maintain accurate records. This role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and safety protocols.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with audit requirements, MSDS documentation, and food safety programs.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret policies and enforce standards consistently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sanitation operations across all areas of the plant during assigned shifts.
• Train, schedule, and develop sanitation team members to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and ensure proper chemical usage.
• Coordinate with production to optimize sanitation schedules and resources.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support accident prevention and safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to sanitation activities.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure smooth operations across departments.
