Job summary

Lantern Crest is seeking a Safety Officer to patrol properties in Santee, CA, ensuring security across all areas. This full-time, non-exempt role requires calm decision-making during emergencies and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities include patrolling buildings and grounds, responding to incidents, coordinating with caregivers and staff, answering inquiries, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents, families, and the public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all buildings, grounds, and parking areas to ensure safety and security.
• Serve as contact during emergencies and monitor night procedures.
• Perform hourly radio checks and respond promptly to resident service calls.
• Greet visitors via telephone and front desk, provide information as needed.
