Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Roll-Off Driver (CDL Class A/B) for the Night Shift to haul waste from the plant site to the compost farm. This is a hands-on role requiring precise backing, strong safety practices, and the ability to navigate busy industrial routes.

You will operate Roll-Off vehicles, communicate with dispatch and customers, and perform pre-trip checks. Competitive pay plus benefits; local routes; on-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with current medical card.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Experience with roll-off, vacuum truck, or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently on Night Shift and stay on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Roll-Off truck to and from the plant site to the compost farm.
• Perform backing maneuvers in tight and overhead-constrained areas
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and the shop throughout the day
• Prep for jobs by checking equipment, tools, and materials
• Respond to service calls and emergency requests as needed
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety protocols
• Handle your equipment with care and keep your truck in top condition
• Rotate into on-call weekend/overtime work when scheduled
• Work outdoors in all weather — rain or shine, our customers count on us
