Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor on the Night shift at our Chattanooga area hospital to lead nursing teams, ensure high-quality rehabilitation care, and drive evidence-based practices.

This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, day-one benefits, and opportunities for professional growth while delivering compassionate care and coordinating between administration and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification within one year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with accountability for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts or on unit.
• Monitor and manage staff with on-the-spot feedback, evaluations, and performance coaching.
• Assume patient care as needed and build relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and drive quality care outcomes.
