Job summary

Fulton Commons Care Center in New York, NY is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead the overnight nursing unit from 11pm to 7am. You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and ensure the highest standard of resident care.

Candidate should have at least 2 years in long-term care (1 year in a Unit Manager role preferred) and a valid RN license, with strong communication and documentation skills. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care experience preferred.
• At least 1 year in a Unit Manager role preferred.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and manage unit operations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce employee policies and procedures.
• Mentor and support less experienced nurses with clinical guidance.
• Establish and uphold standards of care for resident safety and well-being.
• Review resident records and monitor quality of care for effective treatment plans.
• Conduct case reviews and ensure individualized care plans are followed.
• Address inquiries and concerns from residents and families promptly.
• Ensure adequate stock of medical supplies for smooth operations.
• Advocate for the unit’s interests to upper management.
