Job summary

Alaris Health at Cedar Grove is seeking a Part-Time RN Night Supervisor to support the center’s nursing philosophy and translate it into a nursing system. The role includes supervising care planning, assessing residents, and coordinating care during the night shift.

Shift is 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The supervisor will oversee rounds, ensure adherence to standards, communicate with shifts, and report to the Director of Nursing Services.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in New Jersey.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years nursing experience and at least 1 year as a nurse supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and regulations for nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinical care planning and delivery to coordinate quality patient care.
• Assesses residents upon admission and with changes in condition.
• Performs rounds to evaluate patient condition.
• Provides or assists with direct patient care as needed.
• Obtains and implements physician orders with accuracy.
• Communicates changes between shifts.
• Provides clinical assessment to MD/NPs on call for outcomes.
• Make daily rounds to ensure staff meet nursing standards.
• Report findings to the Director of Nursing Services.
• Make appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing Services when necessary.
