Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Resources Supervisor for the Stepdown unit. This full-time night position (4x10 hour shifts, 6pm-4am) offers a $20,000 bonus for experienced nurses and opportunities to lead bedside teams with Mercy’s standards in mind.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring care quality, coordinating with other departments, and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality. Mercy delivers comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN from a nursing program.
• Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Experience: 1 year of critical care preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS may be required.
• ACLS certification as applicable to unit needs.

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care by direct care givers.

Position Details

$20,000 Bonus for Experienced Nurses

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: preferred 1 year of critical care experience
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
