Job summary

Banner Casa Grande Medical Center in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking an experienced RN for the PCU Observation unit on the night shift. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with providers, and ensure timely documentation and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care including discharge planning, based on assessments and input from patient and family.
• Implement the plan through direct patient care and coordination with the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Promote continuous improvement and participate in unit leadership and staff development.
