Job summary

AdventHealth in Dade City, FL is seeking an RN for a PRN night shift. The role focuses on patient care, infection prevention, and collaboration with the care team. You will develop individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure safety and quality in daily operations.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and current RN license with BLS. Proficiency with Cerner EMR is a plus, all within a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

Nursing care methods and procedures knowledge is required.
Ability to work as a team within a unit is essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, Cerner preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow infection prevention precautions and medication safety policies.
Set measurable short- and long-range patient care goals and implement plans.
Prioritize and complete follow-up assessments and adjust plans as needed.
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and patients.
Ensure high-quality patient experience through hourly rounding and clear explanations.
