Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MS1D Oncology unit. The role supports oncology patients with private rooms on a 16-bed unit, primarily during the night shift from 7pm to 7:30am.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and education, with emphasis on infection control and interprofessional collaboration. BSN is required and PA RN license, BLS, and possibly chemo certification.

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Chemo certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients.
• Document admission assessments, reassessments, plans, interventions and medication use.
• Utilize information management system to communicate patient status and change in condition to the care team.
• Prioritize work assignments based on changing patient needs and acuity.
• Coordinate patient transfer communications during rounds.
• Incorporate infection control standards to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
