Job summary
Corewell Health is seeking a part-time nurse to join the Women Infant Services Unit at Big Rapids Hospital. The Night shift runs 7:00 p.m.
to 7:00 a.m., with 24 weekly hours, in a family-centered maternity setting. The successful candidate will deliver nursing care in accordance with ANA standards and MI regulations, participate in the nursing process, and collaborate with a skilled team to support mothers and newborns during delivery and postpartum care.
Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- BLS required within 90 days.
- ACLS required within 6 months.
- CRT-Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification – 2yrs required.
Responsibilities
- Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the ANA and Michigan law.
- Demonstrates nursing process through assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Upholds the standards of professional performance including ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership and evidence-based practice.
- Strives to achieve optimal outcomes for patients and families.
