Job summary

Texas Health Dallas seeks a Registered Nurse for the Neuro and Trauma ICU (NTICU) on the night shift (7P-7A), 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. The NTICU is a fast-paced, high-acuity unit with complex neuroscience and trauma cases.

Requirements include Diploma or ADN; BSN preferred. At least 1 year ICU experience; RN license at hire; BCLS and ACLS on hire; CPI within 30 days. Texas Health offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN licensing required at hire
• BSN preferred
• 1 year ICU experience preferred
• ACLS, BCLS required or to be obtained upon hire
• CPI within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process
• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control measures into patient care
