Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurosciences Unit at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. This 43-bed acute inpatient unit supports stroke and neurology patients, including EMU beds, offering opportunities to build advanced clinical skills on high-acuity cases.

You will perform advanced neuro assessments, collaborate with neuro and neurosurgical teams, and deliver full-scope RN care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to BLS and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for acute stroke & neuro patients.
• Perform advanced neuro assessments.
• Manage crains, drains, and high-acuity cases.
• Deliver full-scope RN care in a fast-paced unit.
• Collaborate with neuro & neurosurgical teams.
