Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for Nursery Women's Services on the night shift (6:30/7:00) with part-time availability and rotating weekends. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in nursing, current KY RN license, BLS, and neonatal certifications with NRP within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required; bachelor's preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current KY RN license and active licensure (compact allowed).
• Current BLS certification.
• STABLE certification or obtain after 6 months nursery experience.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 90 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process per standards.
• Assess and document patient condition; communicate with care team.
• Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient education.
• Coordinate transfers, discharges, referrals, and family support.
