Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current MA RN Licensure.
• BSN preferred.
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required.
• 1 year telemetry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in telemetry and ability to independently interpret telemetry strips required by the end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care on an inpatient medical/surgical/telemetry unit.
• Communicate with patients, families and other health team members effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize as well as a commitment to work with a culturally diverse population.
