Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift at a teaching hospital in Massachusetts. Active MA RN license and telemetry experience are required, with Meditech Expanse preferred. Expect 12-hour nights, 1:6 ratios, and hospital-wide floating.

Qualifications include 2+ years Med/Surg, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, Dysrhythmia training, and a supervisory reference. Travel role with housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in hand at time of profile upload (compact license not accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required.
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Med/Surg unit within a 298-bed teaching hospital.
• Unit sizes range 20–34 beds; typical patient ratio 1:6.
• Night shift: 12-hour shifts 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; every other weekend; holiday coverage as needed.
• No on-call; floating to any Med/Surg unit; block scheduling not offered.
• Maintain scrubs per dress code; complete 8 hours orientation.
