Job summary

WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract at a rural critical access hospital in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. You will work primarily in Med Surg and float to the Emergency Department as needed.

This role requires comfort working independently, adapting quickly, and caring for a diverse patient population. Night shift is 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible to practice
• Experience in Medical-Surgical units and Emergency Department preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to rural hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Med Surg and Emergency Department
• Float from Med Surg to ER as needed
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients of various illnesses and injuries
• Respond to emergency and trauma cases
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and care team
• Maintain patient documentation in CPSI EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage as required
