Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Florida's Treasure Coast invites applications for an experienced RN on the 4 East Medical/Surgical Unit. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor patients, and collaborate with a compassionate, innovative team using state-of-the-art technology to deliver family-centered care.

This night-shift role (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma/ADN/BSN), current RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA or American Red Cross
• One year of current acute care RN experience, military RN experience considered
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
