Job summary

HonorHealth's Network Float Pool in Phoenix, AZ seeks an RN for PRN night shifts across East Valley locations. Two years of RN experience in the assignment area and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and intermediate fetal monitoring certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as an RN in the area of assignment is required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required.

Responsibilities

• The RN's practice is guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics, including patient history, tests, treatments and follow-up.
• Administer medications and IV therapies, monitor patients and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, home care needs, diet, nutrition and exercise.
• Provide direction to licensed practical nurses and nursing aides as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians to ensure quality patient care.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the care plan and nursing practice.
