Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. The position is full-time Nights, 36 hours per week on a 19-bed unit with multiple Labor rooms and a neonatal resuscitation area.

The unit provides around 240 births monthly with 24-hour specialist coverage and a level III NICU for high-risk transports. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, care planning, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• BSN preferred or to be obtained within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status of patients.
• Plan individualized care using data from assessments and interdisciplinary input.
• Coordinate and delegate with the care team to implement the care plan.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and revise the plan as needed.
• Document accurately and maintain professional standards and ethics.
