Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking an RN for the Labor & Delivery unit, working nights with on-call and a 7:00 pm–7:30 am schedule. You will join a Magnet Hospital team delivering high-quality care and education in a busy setting.

Minimum qualifications include RN licensure, graduating from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS certification, and at least one year of acute care RN experience (military RN experience accepted). Preference for BSN and obstetric experience.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of outcomes.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues.
Administer prescribed medications and treatment following nursing protocol.
