Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure to practice.
• BLS certification required at or on hire date.
• ACLS certification required at or within one year of hire.
• One year of acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
