Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 9-week assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. The role involves floating between LDR and ACU on night shifts (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with a 32-hour weekly schedule and potential extension.

Requirements include an active RI or compact RN license, BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring certification, and EPIC EMR experience. Onboarding, health documentation, and two references are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (RI state or compact)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current NRP certification
• Fetal monitoring certification (required for LDR)
• Experience in Labor & Delivery/Antepartum/High-Risk OB
• Ability to float between units

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care within Float Pool across LDR and ACU
• Work night shifts on a 32-hour/week schedule (8-hour shifts)
• Work every weekend and all holidays as required
• Maintain active RN license and required certifications
• Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation
• Submit two professional references before placement
• Complete onboarding health documentation and compliance
