Job summary

Scripps Health is hiring a Registered Nurse RN for a full-time position in the Definitive Observations Unit (DOU) at Scripps Mercy San Diego (Hillcrest). The role involves 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and a 72-hour per 2-week schedule. New hire and relocation incentives up to $7K are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of RN experience.
• 6 months in an inpatient setting such as SNF, LTAC or Acute Care.
• Experience in PCU, Stepdown or Tele is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope.
• Assess and plan patient care, implement and evaluate progress.
• Perform peritoneal dialysis treatments and administration.
• Lead the care team to deliver quality patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
