Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health Nights to provide patient-centered care on a multidisciplinary team. You will assess patients at admission and during shifts, document care promptly, and respond quickly to patient needs to promote recovery.

Responsibilities include coordinating with providers to customize treatment plans and ensuring continuity of care for specialized patient groups. Active RN license and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of start date
• 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting changes.
• Documents care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and delivers exceptional care.
• Coordinates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a holistic treatment plan.
• Interfaces with community resources to coordinate ongoing care for specialized groups.
