Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Acute Pulmonary Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA. This part-time night position features 2–12 hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) with weekend and holiday rotation across a 6-week cycle.

Qualifications

• BSN or AD nursing degree with nursing license in Virginia or eligible.
• 1 year of experience in a critical care setting or equivalent fellowship.
• BLS & ACLS certification from American Heart Association; Virginia RN licensure or multi-state license.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient health assessments and plan individualized care.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team and advocate for patients' rights.
• Document all care activities and ensure continuity across the care continuum.
• Make clinical decisions to support best outcomes and patient safety.
