Qualifications

• Associate degree required or preferred in Respiratory Therapy.
• Florida license as Respiratory Therapist required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders.
• Administering respiratory therapies and medications.
• Performing and interpreting diagnostic pulmonary function tests.
• Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients in need of respiratory support.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on treatment plans.
• Providing patient education on breathing techniques, medication use, and lifestyle changes.
