Job summary

Select Medical in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for full-time Nights. Salary ranges from $32.69 to $44.00 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. One year of related experience and AZ RT license required.

The hospital provides world-class inpatient post-ICU services and emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care for critically ill patients. The RT will evaluate patients, deliver respiratory care, manage endotracheal tubes, support quality improvement, and educate patients

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential required by NBRC or state equivalent.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
