Qualifications

• 1-3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality to ensure cooperation.
• Performs ABG punctures accurately and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Conducts pulmonary testing as assigned.
• Follows respiratory protocols and safety guidelines during procedures.
• Maintains and cleans respiratory equipment, ensuring safe operation.
• Documents all treatments, assessments, and patient responses clearly and thoroughly.
• Ensures proper PPE use and infection control procedures.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance for patient safety.
• Demonstrates judgment in emergencies and collaborates with teams to stabilize patients.
• Applies age-specific oxygen therapy considerations across patient populations.
