Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality to facilitate cooperation.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Performs pulmonary testing procedures as assigned.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and infection control standards.
• Maintains and sanitizes respiratory therapy equipment.
