Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide advanced cardiopulmonary care, interpret tests, administer meds, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

This full-time night shift features a 36-hour workweek, shift differentials for evenings and weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package. Bonus opportunities up to $15,000 plus $5,000 for less than 1 year experience are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program is required.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).
• Current license as Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic testing procedures and arterial gases.
• Administers medications and monitors patient progress per protocol.
• Maintains awareness of patient condition and communicates with physicians and nurses.
• Completes documentation and manages supplies; monitors productivity.
• Participates in quality, safety initiatives, and department meetings.
• Promotes Respiratory Care and mentors staff within department.
• May float to other departments as needed.
• May be on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
