Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. This full-time night shift role (36 hours) offers shift differentials and a potential sign-on bonus.

The therapist will provide advanced cardiopulmonary care, supervise equipment, and coordinate patient progress with clinicians. Required NBRC-approved RT program, accredited education, and state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, plus BLS and applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program.
• Education from an accredited institution; degree verification performed.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic testing and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Oversees operation of respiratory care equipment for optimal patient care.
• Initiates Respiratory Protocol and interventions per department criteria.
• Administers medications safely and monitors effects with re-evaluation.
• Communicates patient status to physicians and staff; educates patients/families.
• Documents progress, productivity, and supplies; participates in quality initiatives.
• May float to other departments within competency; on-call may be required.
