Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to perform respiratory and cardiology procedures on the critical and basic care floors. The ideal candidate has NBRC RRT credentials and Florida licensure with BLS and ACLS current.

Responsibilities include documenting procedures in the hospital system and maintaining equipment knowledge per department standards. Minimum 6 months of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Respiratory Care program is required.
• Licensure in the state of Florida in Respiratory therapy (RRT) is required.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Competently performs all respiratory and cardiology procedures.
• Demonstrates appropriate knowledge in the use of all respiratory and cardiology equipment.
• Documents in the hospital computer system all procedures performed per JCAHO requirements and department policies.
