Joseph Michaels International is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a community hospital in Ohio on the night shift. You will administer therapies across all ages, manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualified candidates will be AMA-approved School graduate, NBRC CRT or RRT, Ohio license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certified. The role is full-time with 36 hours per week and a 3rd weekend rotation, offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC CRT or RRT and Ohio license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• 3+ years of experience in cardiopulmonary services preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments across all patient age groups (pediatric to geriatric).
• Set up, manage, and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway management tasks.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway management as needed.
• Monitor oxygen delivery methods and equipment; watch for side effects.
• Perform arterial blood gas punctures and analyze results.
• Perform EKGs and transmit reports to physicians.
• Inspect, test, and operate respiratory therapy equipment; ensure proper function.
• Assess patient status and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document all data in the PCN following services.
• Develop patient/family teaching plans and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Participate in on-call and every 3rd weekend rotations.
• Attend staff meetings, educational programs, and QA activities.
• Maintain professional presentation and ongoing development.
