Job summary

Arbors at Oregon is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for the night shift. Starting wages are $42.00–$49.00 per hour. The role requires a CRT or RRT license and CPR certification, with Ventilation Certification preferred.

The Respiratory Therapist will provide clinical direction, perform respiratory care services, and support resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: A CRT or RRT license and a graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory care.
• Licenses/Certification: Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the state employed. CPR certification.
• Vent Certified is preferred.
• Experience: One year of respiratory therapy experience preferred in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory related services for established times or services within the Respiratory Care Practitioner scope of services.
• Records all pertinent information on respiratory care records and patient charts and communicates with physicians, staff, patient, and family members.
• Assists facility in regulatory issues and ensures respiratory equipment and supplies are properly stored and documented.
• Communicates with facility staff regarding clinical and operational issues of the program and patient care.
• Assesses patient respiratory needs, oxygen saturation, and ventilator status; conducts treatments and ventilator checks.
