Job summary

Preferred candidates hold RRT/CRT credentials, 1–2 years hospital experience, and an NYS license with BCLS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Applied Science and Respiratory Therapy.
• Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Under physician direction, perform respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Supervise and monitor Respiratory Technicians as required by licensure.
• Assess modalities, recommend changes to improve delivery of care.
