Job summary

Lincoln Crawford Care Center in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a compassionate Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) to work with our nursing and clinical teams to deliver high-quality respiratory care to residents. Responsibilities include assessments, oxygen and ventilator management, documentation, and education for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Respiratory Therapist license ( CRT or RRT ) in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification (CPR); ACLS preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, sub-acute, or hospital respiratory care preferred (new grads welcome).

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and provide individualized therapy per physician orders and care plans.
• Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management as needed.
• Document respiratory interventions, progress notes, and equipment use accurately and timely.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents' respiratory status and coordinate care with nurses and physicians.
• Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper function of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and health practices.
