Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver skilled cardiopulmonary care and operate independently with ventilator management and diagnostic procedures. The role requires advanced training and experience to set therapy objectives and evaluate care for diverse patient populations.

Preferred candidates will have RRT certification, WA license, ACLS/NRP/PALS credentials within 90 days, and acute care experience. Internal candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Registered as an RRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS credentials required within 90 days of hire depending on population served.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions.
• Perform independent, professional respiratory care and ventilator management.
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and clinical evaluation of care.
• Establish therapy objectives and review care based on patient age and needs.
