Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must successfully pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of residents by following approved policies and procedures.
• Provide therapeutic supervision during treatment activities.
• Report to the Program Supervisor any behavior that disrupts the milieu.
• Assist in orientation of new residents and reinforce program rules and expectations.
• Help manage aggressive residents using approved de-escalation techniques.
• Document resident behavior and interventions in daily health records.
• Maintain awareness of resident whereabouts through rounds and counts.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary treatment team and required meetings.
