Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Chester, NJ is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN / Per Diem night shifts at 201 Pleasant Hill Rd. This role offers a $23.50 per hour wage plus shift differential and includes night and weekend rotations.

You will provide basic patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support mobility and feeding. Per Diem shifts include nights and weekends; orientation and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

Obtaining vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves, and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in the mobility program.
Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.
